Check out the original blog post on the idea.
When: October 7th
Where: The HubSpot Offices @ 25 First St, Cambridge, MA
We’ve got 6 battle topics planned, so now it’s time to put up or shut up. Post in the comments which battle you’d like to be a part of and which side you’d like to take.
- Facebook vs Google Me
- Boston vs NYC
- Privacy vs Transperancy
- Reach: Quantity vs Quality
- Facebook Places vs Foursquare
This is too effin cool! Can’t wait to witness the outcome…
You gotta make this available on the web to watch. Sounds quite interesting!
Can’t wait to see how this unfolds…. what are the topics going to be?
Looks like a great event. Pls add me to your mailing list
I love it! Let the old school battle on the new school begin.
Is this open to all contenders or are you selecting the playas?
@Matthew Do you wanna battle? What topic?
I’d like to host one in New York in late September. Can I ask you for tips and thoughts (we have a huge tweetup community hair).
Also, we (Served Fresh) will be handling social media pr for a big conference in Boston September 10-12th – we were going to do a standard tweetup (which we do for clients events) but this might be 100x better!
Thank you for any feedback you can provide!
I love this idea! Will there be a hashtag to follow in real time for those of us who can’t attend?
Ooooh. I want in. Not sure on the topic, but I love a good battle!
@jesskry
Sweet!!! What a great idea. Love it. Keep up the awesome work Dan!
Live streamed for the rest of us??? Please?
Very cool idea, can’t wait to hear the experience!
Dude, this is going to be AWESOME!!!!
Excellent idea. I just think you’re waiting too long (over a month?) before the 1st one.
I’m all for Charlie hosting one in NY in September. She’s awesome!
Too cool! Love this idea and can’t wait to see who the contenders are and what topics they take on! This is going to be great!
We’ll be looking out for this – great antidote to reading 10 articles saying the same thing.
I know who I would like to battle, but he is too much of a wuss making “muh=nay” as he put it, to show up.
Oh Em Gee, I want to see this… Will it be on video?
I could go on for HOURS re: facebook places v. foursquare.
